We expose our children to high quality reading materials so that they learn to love reading. Children are exposed through Story time and have access to the library all day long. Many children will be found sitting with an adult reading our amazing books or sharing their current favorite with their friends.

Our goal is to build a child's confidence in writing by following the Handwriting without Tears curriculum to teach handwriting. We place a focus on building hand strength through many fine motor activities including playdough, water table play with funnels and sponges, and tweezers and pipe cleaners. We encourage free mark making before we begin to teach letter formation to help build confidence in writing.
